True, but many people in India and the countries surrounding it wear bindis during parties and stuff like that, so it doesn’t always indicate that.

I know. However, that is the culture meaning. I’m in high school and I wear them at parties because my mother has too many.
My point is that it doesn’t really matter if someone miss uses it. You wanna be a married woman today? Sure.

Yeah, I’m Bengali and my mom used to have a ton on bindis, but she doesn’t wear them anymore.
